How to read the results

Monthly price represents the carrier's quoted premium for the death benefit, term and health class you picked, billed monthly. Rate class indicates the underwriting level your quote assumes; the carrier verifies this during underwriting. Exam indicates whether the carrier typically requires a paramedical exam; many quick-decision programs skip this for qualifying candidates. A.M. Best shows the carrier's credit rating.
